Timing: Chip timing/ clock at each quarter mile. Timing company is RealTimingInc.com. Team signup: 4 individuals may sign up as a team at time of registration. All teams must have 4 members. Family teams must have a minimum of 4 members and can only be comprised of an immediate family which is defined as parents and their children. Veteran signup: Designate veteran status on registration form. Tech shirts will be designated as “veteran” as our tribute to our veteran runners. Packet pickup and Race Expo: May 30th 1-5 pm at the parking lot for Dick Pond’s & Foot Mechanics, 303 N. 2nd St., St. Charles, IL 60174. Fed Ex “packet pick-up” option: additional 20.00; registration deadline May 25, 2010. Goody Bag: Race Bibs/tech t-shirts (11 & above); medals (7-10)/ water & breakfast snack will be handed out at finish line. Awards: Top 3 finishers overall will receive Cash Prizes and Inspiration Award. Top 3 age group finishers in open division will receive Award Medals. All finishers (7-10) will receive a medal. Top team finishers will receive gift certificates or New Balance product. Inspirational Awards Ceremony, after the parade. Activities in St. Charles: Join the fun in St. Charles for the entire Memorial Day weekend! The city proudly presents its annual Fine Arts Festival May 28-30. Stake your spot as a spectator for the race and stay for the Memorial Day parade at 10 am, immediately after the race event. RACE LOGISTICS Race to be conducted in Waves*: Racers will be notified of their wave and wave time at packet pickup.

Awards & Prize Money Bounty for first sub 4 mile (male) and sub 4:30 mile (female): TBD Winner’s Circle: Top female/male: 1st: 500.00; 2nd 350.00; 3rd 250.00 cash. Each winner will also receive the Inspiration Award. (If a winner is a high school student, the cash award will be donated to the scholarship fund TBD at his/her school.) Top 3 finishers in Open: (11-14)(15-18)(19-24)(25-29)(30-34)(35-39)(40-44)(45-49)(50-54)(55-59)(60-64)(65-69)(70 & over) will receive an Award Medal. All finishers (age 7-10) will receive a medal only. All finishers (11-70 & over) will receive a New Balance Tech shirt. Top Open female/male team (19-39) and (40 & over)(4 racers): Each participant will earn a Gift certificate. Top Veteran’s team (4 racers): Each participant will earn a Gift Certificate. Top Family team (any age 7 & over; top 4 racers in immediate family): Family will win a Gift Certificate. Top H.S. female/male team (15-18)(4 racers): Each participant will win New Balance Product. Top Jr. H. female/male team (11-14)(4 racers): Each participant will win New Balance product. · Awards available at 9 am at a special Inspirational Awards Ceremony (TBD).
